As a result of continued
growth, Frasca is currently adding the following positions:
APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Frasca International, Inc., is adding a member to the Information Systems
team. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of VB, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET,
HTML, and a working knowledge of MS SQL Server for supporting custom
applications and company intranet. Applicant should have either a 2 year
certificate or BS in computer science. 1-2 years experience desired.
Excellent communication and people skills will help in this team
environment. (Relocation not available for this position.)
AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER
Position requires a BS or MS in Aeronautical Engineering, plus 2-5 years
experience or equivalent. Preferred background includes rotorcraft /
Helicopter knowledge plus applied aerodynamics, aircraft performance and
systems analysis, stability and control, and/or flight test. Pilot
training or certification, R/C modeling, or desktop simulation, is
encouraged. Candidate must have good interpersonal skills, a desire to
work on a wide range of aero-related topics, and a willingness to travel.
Position is full time Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00 p.m. Must have work
authorization.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Position requires BS in
CS with skills in C++ and OO design. Duties include analysis, design,
coding, testing, deployment, and support of flight simulation software on
a Windows XP platform. Specific tasks include object-oriented modeling of
aircraft systems and avionics, developing hardware/software interfaces,
implementing interfaces to software subsystems, as well as diagnosing,
troubleshooting and correcting customer discrepancies with current and
older flight simulation software. Basic physics knowledge, private pilot
license, and C# programming experience are a plus. Must be available to
travel as needed (10 -20%).
