Located on Frasca Field (C16) in Urbana,
Illinois. This award winning airport features a 4000 foot long East/West lighted concrete
runway and East/West and North/South grass runways. The airport is also home to Rudy
Frasca's collection of WWII vintage aircraft (including the Mark 18 Spitfire,
Fiat, P-40 & Zero shown below.) Frasca Field hosts several fly-ins and
gatherings of aviation enthusiasts from around the country each year and is a
popular stop for many on their way to Oshkosh each summer! Frasca Field is
managed by Tom Frasca, who also pilots the Zero and the company's business
aircraft.
